Day of Service Spring 2022

Hey First Baptist Church! We are so excited about our upcoming CHURCH-WIDE Spring Day of Service.On Saturday, May 7th, from 9am- 1pm, we will be heading outside our walls and into our community. Our goal for that day is to let our community know that we love them, that we are here for them, but most of all, we want them to know that Christ is offering them eternal life.
No matter your age, skillset, or comfort level, we have a place for you to serve.

The following is a list of areas where you can serve. In the first section, please choose your first preferred area to serve and in the second section choose an alternative. I will do my best to get you in the area that you prefer.

Anywhere needed Collect food in our parking lot for Greater Things Outreach Center and Delivering after Landscaping (pine needles) at the schools Evangelism in our current 1-mile outreach neighborhood Building a handicap ramp for someone in need Sewing pillows and pillow cases for children in the DSS system Prayer team (this team will be praying collectively in the Sanctuary for God to move in hearts as we are in the community) Nursery worker for babies and small children while parents volunteer elsewhere

In addition to Saturday Morning, We will be teaming up with the Red Cross for a blood drive which will take place on Friday, the 6th from 2:30-7:30. We are looking for 10 volunteers who can help with this.
